What Keeps Financial Planners Loyal for Nearly 20 Years?

The average tenure across half of this firms 50+ Financial Planners is 18.8 years. That speaks volumes.

I really can't think of any other firm, of that size, with that level of longevity and loyalty.

These are very high calibre people that would received a lot of approaches in that time. Could’ve moved to the highest bidder, picked up a chunky asset transfer incentive, or set up by themselves.

So why have they stayed?

  • Generous and transparent remuneration structure
  • Fair, loyal and very long-standing senior management team
  • Consistency in approach, culture and values
  • Real care in supporting staff and clients during corporate events
  • Focus on internal talent when senior roles arise

In essence, they do the right thing and actually deliver what a lot of firms just say they will.

So what do these facts mean to you (aside from strong potential for client base inheritances over the next few years as some of these advisers retire)?

Simple, a culture in which to embed yourself over the long term – earn well, progress, succeed.

After all, no one likes moving jobs unless they feel they need to. So what if you could go somewhere where you simply wouldn’t get that itch?

Where you wouldn't feel you have to move on to keep your salary in line with the market.

Where you can forge a career rather than take another stepping stone.

2026 has seen the start of a major recruitment drive at this firm, as they look to bolster their Financial Planning team, at various levels, across the UK.

So whether you have a couple of years advisory experience, or you are an industry veteran, get in touch if you are curious to find out more.

You never know, this could well be your forever home too.
