BPA Reinsurance Actuary 

Location: London (hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

Salary: Up to £90,000 + significant bonus

Like a lot of other people, maybe you're interested in making the switch to the BPA market...or maybe you're already at a BPA firm and wanting a change. Whether you're already working at a BPA firm, consultancy, insurer/reinsurer, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

A few of the key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage key projects to strengthen the company's reinsurance capabilities
• Work closely with reinsurers, presenting results and insights of pricing analyses to help improve the relationships and pricing process.
• Managing both internal and external stakeholders in relation to reinsurance deals

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified actuary (would consider part-qualified with several years of reinsurance experience)
• A strong communicator and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with pricing models, systems and tools, and have some coding skills (not essential), etc.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of the life insurance and reinsurance market, BPA/de-risking, annuity products, Solvency II, etc.
