Delivery Manager - Data – London

A Delivery Manager with a strong background in the delivery of Data-related projects is required for a bank in London to work across the Chief Data Office.

You will work closely with Data Enablement, Data Science, Data Analytics and the CDO to deliver projects in line with the organisation’s data strategy. This may include: Data Remediation, Data Quality, Data Insights, production of dashboards etc. AI projects may also fall under your scope.

Working with the business, you must be excellent at building relationships with stakeholders of all levels.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of projects, ensuring people, process & technology change is managed
• Management of project risks
• Responsibility for project budget
• Working with developers, testers, business analysts, data analysts and users

Essential experience

• A background in delivery of data projects with experience in all of:
  • Data governance
  • Data Science
  • Data Quality
  • Data Analytics
• Financial Services experience
• Agile and Waterfall methodologies – they are moving in the Agile direction but there are still Waterfall projects. Pragmatism rules.
• Delivery of both Business Change & IT Change

You must be:

• Pragmatic and balanced, able to focus on both strategy and delivery
• An excellent communicator. With gravitas.
• Able to prioritise in a complex environment
• Excellent at building relationships

 

This is a hybrid role – 2 to 3 days per week in the office - but you must be able to spend more time than that at crucial times. But, if you are the right type of candidate, you already know that.
